Interpreters’ Retreat is pleased to announce its third conference to be held at the Renaissance Orlando Airport hotel in Orlando, Florida from March 7 – 9, 2014.  A variety of professional development workshops will be offered, focusing on professional and skills development in the areas of legal, medical, mental health and a plethora of other topics that are relevant to the educational, social, economic and political needs of our diverse base within the interpreting community.  Check out the list of speakers and workshops we had at our 2013 Retreat (see menu above) for an idea of the caliber of speakers and types of workshops to expect at our 2014 Retreat!

To do this, we rely on the expertise and insights of diverse interpreters to bring value through their unique skills and fresh ideas and help accelerate the pace of innovation, taking interpreters to the next level. Understanding the impact that interpreters’ can have, Interpreters’ Retreat decided to gather some of the most influential interpreters in the interpreting world and ask them directly what they need to succeed. Interpreters’ Retreat hopes to use this feedback to provide better enhanced workshops and services to this growing market.
